Willis was born to Mary and George Anderson on November 16, 1943 in Estelline, Texas. He spent his childhood in Childress, Texas where he graduated from JJ Rhodes High in 1963. He then enlisted into the United States Army stationed in Germany. Upon his return home he worked for the Pantex Plant Department of Energy for over 38 years until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Coffer Anderson. With this union, were born two children, daughter, Tameka Anderson (Rohan) Thompson their two children; Tamia Simpson, Christian Thompson, his son: Willis Anderson Jr., and his children , Caitlin Galvin, Bailey, Erica Anderson, Brenden Shane Anderson, Braeden Jacob Anderson, and Harper Jade Anderson.
He also leaves to cherish his memories, his three daughters, Tonya Anderson, her children (Nastoshia Anderson, LaTisha Hamilton and Justin Hamilton Sr. with ten grandchildren ) Valisa Lewis, her two children Vongel and Aaron Lewis and Arlia Polley, one child, Lorenzo Clay.
Willis will be missed by extended cousins, schoolmates, and many good friends.
