Verdia "Mama Tip" Hughes

Verdia Hughes was born January 7, 1933, to her parents the late Odell, Sr. and Lucy Meadows. She was the first born of ten children.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Odell and Lucy Meadows, husband: Alvin Hughes, and daughter: Vickie McKillian.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Clara Brown Trimble (Norman) and Jackie Elmore, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, the Meadows & Hughes Family:
brothers: Odell, Jr. (Barbara) and Roscoe Meadows, sisters: Fredonia Hunnicutt (RL) and Sally (TJ) Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
