Timothy Earl Gilbreath was born to Curtis Goosby Sr. and Pearlie Penns on April 8, 1965 in Amarillo Texas.
Tim attended public schools at Lamar Elementary, Fannin Jr. High, and graduated from Amarillo High School with the class of 1984. He was an outstanding High School basketball player for Amarillo High and was offered several scholarships. Tim chose to further his education at Texas Southern University in Houston Texas. Tim accepted Christ at a young age at Greater Mt Olive Baptist Church.
Known to everyone as “Tricky”, his love and appreciation for family and friends was not unnoticed. The bond with his grandchildren was unbreakable!
Tim will always be remembered by his courageous character and perseverance.
His grandfather, Edward V. Gilbreath Sr, precedes him in death.
He is survived by his grandmother, Vurnell Gilbreath; father, Curtis Goosby (Carolyn), mother, Pearlie Penns (Mack); sons, T.J. and Dustin Daniel; daughters, Melody (Tim), Shiante (Gerry), and Raven; brothers, Tony Gilbreath Sr., John Wells, Curtis Goosby, Jr, and Wesley Goosby; sisters, Jacklyn Gilbreath-Moore, Angela Coulter, and Sandra Gardner; 9 grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins.
