Shereena Webster Obituary

Shereena Ann Byington-Webster was born January 10th, 1986, to Patricia Wagoner-Byington and Lucian Byington. She was the first of 4 beautiful girls.

After graduating from Caprock High School in 2004, Shereena realized her special gift with children and decided to pursue a career in Education.

She then obtained her bachelor’s degree in Education at WTAMU in 2010. Shereena’s first teaching position was at Oakdale Elementary where she taught for 10 years, blessing and impacting so many children with her special gift. She then decided to further her knowledge and achieved a

Master’s in education with a Major in Educational Leadership in 2019. Shereena also taught at South Georgia Elementary in 2021. She recently accepted a new position at Region 16 as the High Impact Tutoring Learning Leader.

In her free time away from her career Shereena was an avid Softball player, loved to gamble, play bingo which she got from her grandma and attend church. But most of all, Shereena LOVED to spend her time with her beautiful daughter, Oaklyn. Shereena's love for Oaklyn was a beautiful thing to watch. Their bond was and will always be unbreakable and will forever be instilled in Oaklyn.

Mommy and Oaklyn loved to take spontaneous trips together, the first thing they did on every trip was to jump on the hotel bed to make sure it was properly broken in, a tradition that will never be forgotten. Their Mommy and Daughter dates always consisted of manicures and pedicures, finishing off with their favorite meal, a big bowl of seafood soup. Oaklyn was Shereena’s world, her mini-me, her best friend and her little miracle. Shereena will forever live through Oaklyn and that’s a promise.

“Mommy and Oaklyn Forever”

Shereena was well known, respected, and loved by all who knew her. Specifically known for her beauty, her smile, her laugh, and her beautiful big heart for anyone and everyone. "You have to be kind" was her favorite phrase to use with her daughter, nieces, and nephews.
