Sharry (Route) Johnson

Sharry Ann (Route) Johnson first blessed this earth with her presence  on  January 30, 1962. Born into the home of her loving parents J L Route and Ruby Route in Shamrock Texas. She attended school in Amarillo, where she graduated in 1980 to persue her dreams and find her place in life. She also decided to start her journey into marriage that same year and married Hodge Johnson to whom she was blessed with 4 beautiful children. From there her life took off on a path that would take her on a journey through life helping others with a career in nursing for the next 20 plus years.

After years of showing unselfish love and compassion for others, Sharry was sidelined with knee surgery that slowed her capability to help others, and made her focus more on those close to her, especially her Mom and Dad.  We all benefited from her love, knowledge, wisdom and genuine compassion for others.

The one driving force that kept her spirits up and a smile on her face was family, and for that we are all grateful.

She was preceded in death by both parents.

Mrs. Johnson leaves cherished memories and legacy; her two sons; Terrance Johnson (Austin, TX) Tyrone Johnson (Amarillo TX), her two beautiful daughters: Nikia Johnson (Amarillo, TX) and Destini Johnson (Amarillo, TX), four brothers Jerry Thompson Albuquerque NM,  David Route, Seattle,WS, Michael Route Ft Worth, TX,  Don Route (Sonya) Killen, TX, Sister: Margaret Searcy (Johnny) Ft Worth TX. She also leaves behind her very cherished grandchildren: Avant D Tweety Route, Mariah A Richardson Route (Terrance) Nevaeh Johnson (Nikki) Kaliah and Nyla Washington(Destini), and a host of family and friends.
