Shante was born September 7, 1977, in Cochise County, Ft. Huachuca, AZ Army Base. Shante was raised in Amarillo, TX and spent her adult life in the Dallas Metroplex, TX area. Shante completed her master’s degree from Prairie View University. Shante was a member of Greater New Hope in Dallas, TX. Shante worked in the Dallas Independent School District and worked as a Counselor for all levels of education. In her spare time, she coached the Special Olympics. Her hobbies were coaching basketball, cooking, traveling, and reading. In 2011, Shante met and married Jermaine Boldon.
Shante is proceeded in death by her grandparents, three aunts, one niece and two cousins.
Shante leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Jermaine Boldon; the love of her life, her son Meccai Morgan and her son through marriage Noah Boldon; her father Edmond Demerson, Jr; her mother Alethea (Russell) First; her siblings Shawn Demerson, Dwan (LaKisha) Moore, Shannon (Chris) Green, Shad Demerson and Rachel Alexander; her siblings through marriage Lashonda (Nathan) Lowrie, Tangelia Smith, Clarissa Smith and Stephanie Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews, her church family, Dallas and Amarillo Independent School District co-workers, many cousins and special friends whom lives were greatly impacted by her kind and loving spirit.
