Semageá “Smitty” De’Veon Smith was born on May 22, 1991, to Rodney Smith and Carmen Brim in Amarillo, Texas. Semagea attended Hamlet Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School, and finished his education at Palo Duro High School in 2009.
Semageá enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and most importantly, his kids and his niece Kayliana. He loved playing poker, working on his car, breeding his dogs, and riding 4-wheelers at the river. Semagea liked finding new recipes on TikTok, calling his mom saying, “We have a new recipe to try.” This was good because he surely loved food and liked to eat.
Semageá's most recent accomplishment was receiving his diploma. He also furthered his education by receiving his CDL from Amarillo College. Shortly after, he started working for Deanda Transportation.
Semageá was a jokester, and he was always the loudest in the room. He had an obnoxious laugh that we will all miss. Let us not forget that he would give you a wet willy, but no matter how upset you were at him, no one could stay mad for long.
Semageá leaves to cherish in his memories: father, Rodney Smith (Jennifer); mother, Carmen Brim (Joab); long-term girlfriend, Brittany Garcia; children, Taylin, Naviaa, Xamari, Braeylin, and soon-to-be, Semiyah; brothers, D’wynn, Jamarcus, LD, Taurus, and Chandler (Victoria); sisters, Ra’Kisha, Karlissa, Marchay, Clairisse, Haleigh; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
