Qavis Regina Blount, also known as “Qay” was born to James and Juanita Blount on April 15, 1963, in Amarillo, Texas. She is the eighth child.
She attended Paramount Terrace Elementary School, Bonham Junior High School, and Amarillo High School. She graduated in 1982, from Amarillo High School. Qavis loved the Lord and throughout her life, she attended several churches in Amarillo, Texas.
God gifted Qavis with a daughter. She was her only child and was the gift she cherished the most. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her life. She kept a big smile on her face. Qavis loved playing cards, lottery, eating hot links, and the Dallas Cowboys. Qay left her impact on all our lives, and she will truly be missed.
She is preceded in death: by her parents, James and Juanita Blount; four sisters, Brenda, Nancy, Utona, and Fayera (Byrd) and brothers, James Jr., and Steve.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her daughter, Jordan Avery Blount; two sisters, Vicki and Tami Blount, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
