Obituary

Paul Tracy King was born in Petersburg, Texas on April 22, 1960, to the proud parents Minuard and Josephine King. Tracy was the tenth of thirteen children. He grew up in Petersburg with 12 siblings and enjoyed a fun and exciting childhood. After graduating from Petersburg High School, he moved to Amarillo Texas where he began building a family. Paul was employed as a chef for many years and later moved on to work for Swift until his health declined. From an early age, he developed a profound familiarity with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Through life's trials and triumphs, Tracy displayed a remarkable strength of will and a determination that knew no limits. His unwavering resolve in the face of challenges was a shining example for all who had the privilege of knowing him. He instilled in his daughters the values of perseverance and courage, reminding us that every obstacle is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

As a father, Tracy built a strong foundation for his family and taught his daughters to lean on each other. His laughter filled our home with joy, and his wisdom guided us through the storms of life. His legacy of love will forever be woven into the tapestry of our lives, reminding us to always embrace each other with open arms and a loving heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents Minuard and Josephine King, his siblings Ira King, Sr, Joe King, Nellene Campbell, Donnie King, and Connie Thomas, and his daughter Kandance Blount.

Tracy leaves his memories and legacy to be cherished by his brothers, Johnnie King of Amarillo, Jerry (Valorie) King of Del City, Oklahoma, and Jack (Mary) King of Lubbock, Texas; sisters Carla (Robert) Thomas, Amy (Virgil) Burns, Pamela King, and Shelia King all of Amarillo; children, Ebony Barnes, Traci Courtney Blount, Camilia Blount, Kelsea Blount, Keldra Blount, Kyler Tetteh (Robert) all of Amarillo, Texas; and Kirsten Flanigan (Errian) Of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren: K’Dadrian, Jordan, Kaelin, Traevin, Da’Vein, A’lazia, Trendyn, Jaycii, Ja’Verii, Kaydien, Kyelin, Raegan, Keldyn, Khrystian, Kamerii, Jaiston, Kenlii and great grandchild, Traeslynn, Jordan Barnes, Jr., Kemistry, and Khase, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tracy was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend whose life touched many people.
