Pamela Lemons was born May 11, 1962. She was the only child born to the late Willie and Odessa Polk of Amarillo, Texas. Pamela was a graduate of Amarillo High School here in Amarillo,
Texas.
Pam worked at the Downtown Women’s Center for thirteen years, where she worked her way up to a management position. She loved overseeing all the stores and being able to help others in need. Here is where she met many friends who became family. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Odessa Polk.
She leaves to carry on her legacy: her four daughters, Chatney Polk, Tyra Lemons, Tori Lemons, and Chasity Hiett (Quentin Crosslin), all of Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren whom she cherished, Chaston Barnes, Camary Polk, Ta’Riya Luckey, Michael Luckey II, Alaeyah Jackson, Sincere Evans, Kameron Crosslin, and Kaisen Crosslin; special loved one, Willie Ford; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
