Odessa Polk was born on December 24, 1939 to the late Alma and Letha Coleman in Clarksville, Texas. (Red River County) She was a graduate of Cheatham High School in Clarksville, Texas. She moved to Amarillo, Texas and met the love of her life, Willie Polk and they married October 18, 1961. To this union, one daughter was born, Pamela Polk. She loved to fish and sing. She was president of the Mission Ministry and the president of the Choir. She worked at Mary Miles Nursery and was certified as a childcare giver.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, Willie Polk, three sisters, and two brothers
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Pamela Lemons, sisters: Gracie Asberry, Eudell Owens, Emma Willis, and Dorothy Hopkins, brothers: Alma Coleman, Jr., R.C. Coleman and Larry Coleman
Four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Qmaion Toombs and a special caregiver, Janice Timmons
