Namon Earl Tinner departed for his eternal home on April 23, 2022. He was 60 years old.
Namon was born July 18, 1961, to Webb and Dorothy Tinner in Tulia, Texas. He relocated with his family to Amarillo, Texas at the age of 7 years. He attended Amarillo Schools and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1980. He was a member of the football team.
Namon was employed by IBP for more than 10 years. During this time, he united in marriage with Marilyn Hawthorne in August 1999. From this union, three children were born: Quentin, Makalae, and Mahalia.
Namon was employed by the City of Amarillo until his passing.
Namon is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Quentin (Chrissy) Tinner; daughters: Makalae Tinner, and Mahalia Tinner (Amarillo), sisters, Alma Tinner Anderson, Helene Tinner Smothers, Linda Tinner Barber (Amarillo); Latichia Tinner (Senerchia) Stevens, Katherine Tinner (Dallas); brothers, Leonard Tinner, and Ronnie (Muriel) Tinner (Amarillo). He also leaves to cherish his memory several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Webb and Dorothy Tinner; Sisters: Wanda Kemp, Darlene Beaver, and Everlene Tinner; brothers, Grover Tinner, and Charles Tinner.
