Mother Bobbie "Madea" Harris

Bobbie Marie Harris was born to Abbie Brown and Horace Johnson on November 19, 1930, in Manor, Texas.  She was raised in Manor and Austin, Texas.  In the early 70’s she moved to Amarillo, Texas and worked for General Tommy Thompson.

There She was a devoted member of Prayer Temple Church of God in Christ.  She continued her walk with the Lord as a missionary under the supervision of the late Elder CH Duncan.  She remained faithful to the Lord until He called her home at the age of ninety (90) years old.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; late husband, Willie Harris; bother, Willie Hunter; four children, Evelyn Echols, Richard Scott, Dorothy Addison and Virgie Burns.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Fennis Scott (Mae), Austin, Texas; over one hundred (100) grandchildren, great- grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, nieces; nephews; church family and friends.
