Misty Dawn Carter Elkins was left to go be with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 9, 2020. She was born on February 15, 1977 to E.J. Carter and Evelyn Wheeler Carter. Misty graduated from Caprock High School. She married Chesley Errol Elkins on May 17, 2001 in Fort Lee, Virginia. She has one living sister, Christi Lynn Carter and two step children, Christina Flores and Chesley Elkins Jr. She also has one surviving Aunt Nellie Pearl Jackson. Her grandparents are Eli & Katha Mae Carter.
