Mrs. Minnie Mo (Echols) Scott was a staple in the community. She graduated high school from Woodland High, and spent time at Langston College. She owned her own Cafes, The Minnie Mo Café and The Brown Derby. She was a cook for Betty Bivins for 13 years. She retired at the age of 82. She was also a member of the Christmas in the Hood Choir.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Adolphus and Cleopatra Echols, sister; Modestine Johnson, and nephews; A.D. Echols and Frank Echols.
She is survived by her husband; Billy Don Scott, nephews; Cecil (Porshena) Echols, Sr., Greg (Felicia) Tiggs, nieces; Karen (Michael) Jones, Janice (Drew) Johnson, Georgia Echols, Cleopatra E. Echols, Juvonde Westmoreland, and Crystal Echols, great nephews; Byron Moore, Christopher Moore, Christian Echols, Cecil Echol, Jr., Quenton Block,
Drayton Barlow, Donald Drew, Maquito Echols, Shemore Echols, great nieces; Sharante Lewis, Kierra Jones, Lacretia Scott, Yolanda Scott.
