Michael Miller was born on February 25, 1967, in Amarillo, Texas, to the parentage of the late Mr. T.C. and Mrs. Bertha Miller, who both preceded him in death.
Michael grew up in Amarillo, where he attended elementary and high school, proudly graduating from Amarillo High School. From a young age, he learned many valuable lessons from his parents. His father taught him the joy of fishing. His mother instilled in him the values of kindness, responsibility, and love for the family.
After graduating high school, Michael chose to serve his country by joining the United States Army. He was stationed in Panama for four years, where he faithfully fulfilled his duties before receiving an honorable discharge.
Upon returning home to Amarillo, Michael continued to live a life of dedication and simplicity. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working with his hands, and spending time with his close friends. Following the passing of his parents, he made it a heartfelt tradition to place flowers on their headstones as an expression of his deep love and devotion.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory one son, Mr. Patrick Miller of Aus tin, Texas; one brother, Mr. Larry “L.T.” Miller (Dina) of Tyler, Texas; sisters Mrs. Patricia (Isiacc) Mitchell of Lancaster, Texas and brother Mr. Sammy (Mary Stokes) Miller of Powder Springs, Georgia.
He is also survived by a special niece, Miss Yonika Moore of Dallas, Texas; her daughter, Tonia; nephews, Reverend Damien (Angela) Miller and family of Springtown, Texas; Rev. Thomas (Amanda) Miller and family of Amarillo, Texas and Mr. Kevin Miller and wife of Tyler, Texas. He also leaves behind several great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
