Michael Dwayne Lee went home to be with Jesus on August 6, 2025, at the age of 66. He was born on August 2,1959, in Dallas, Texas. Michael was an amazing husband, loving father, excellent brother and cherished friend.
Michael will be remembered for his humor, laughter, prayers, spirit and his unwavering love for his family. He had a passion for basketball, singing, praising God and pickleball. He could often be found witnessing to someone about how good Jehovah is or riding his motorcycle. His proudest accomplishment, however, was his family, and he learned to put them first. He was of Refreshing Springs Christian Center, under the leadership of Pastor T Eric Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gennie Lee Jr. and Ovire Lee, daughter, Charlene and brother, Andre Lee.
He is survived by his wife of two months, Tamika Thomas-Lee; his children, Tosha Spence (her husband) and Michael Lee. He also leaves behind his, sisters, Sandra Delley, Gwen Simpson, Bridget Smith (Ted), Rosie Whitley; brothers Genie Lee (Dena), Raymond Lee (Lydia), Keith Lee (Amy), Kirk Lee (Beverly) and many nieces and nephews. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He never met a stranger and wanted everybody to know God. He will be deeply missed.
