Michael Dahl

Michael Frank Dahl, 61 years of age, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas. Mike was born on October 30, 1961, to Clark and Bobbie Dahl in Dallas, Texas. The family moved to Amarillo a few years later, where he resided for the rest of his life. Mike was all boy growing up. He loved riding dirt bikes and working on cars. He had a curious mind, and he always wanted to know how things worked. Mike graduated from Alamo Catholic High School. Soon afterward, he married his High School sweetheart, Gayla Sims.

Mike was a very talented tradesman. He was painter for Blandford Paint and Prowall for many years. Mike met Kim Johnson and on February 9, 1999, she gave him the greatest gift of his life, his son, Garrison. Mike loved Garrison and Kim’s sons, Riley and Rodney with all of his heart. He loved being a dad. He was so proud of Garrison. They enjoyed going to ride go carts and monster truck shows together. Mike is now reunited with his parents.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clark, Bobbie, and Bob.

He is survived by his son, Garrison (Hannah), brother, Rob (Judy), sister, Susan (David), and many nieces, who he cherished.
