Mary Roberson Obituary

Mary Ann was born July 26,1956 in Amarillo, Texas to E.J. McClendon and Minnie Pearl McClendon (Green). She began and finished her general education in Amarillo, Texas.  In June 2002, she was united in holy matrimony to Robert "Jesse" Roberson in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was a superb homemaker, displaying a wonderful skill of great hospitality in making sure loved ones were well fed and very comfortable when visiting her home. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, fishing and spending time chatting with family and friends. She had a supernatural ability to reach people in a deep positive way.

Mary Ann was a down to earth, loving and compassionate person who loved to dance, play cards, dominos, travel, and help others. She had an inviting smile that would warm your heart and an unforgettable laughter. She was also a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents: E.J. MCclendon and Minnie Pearl MCclendon (Green), her husband Robert "Jesse" Roberson, her brothers: David McClendon, Lovell McClendon, Edward MCclendon, and her sisters: Betty McClendon, and Renee McClendon.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, Daymond McClendon, brothers: Elgin McClendon, Rodney Earl McClendon, and Larry McClendon, Sisters: Diane Collins (McClendon), Rosalind Coble (McClendon), and Denise Jordan (McClendon), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and those whose lives she touched.

Mary Ann we can never thank you enough for the loving memories you gave us. You may be going far away from us, but you will always be in our hearts. This is not a goodbye; this is a see you later.
