Martha Johnson

Martha Berniece Johnson (Dee-Dee), 62 resident of Amarillo, TX, from Washington D.C. entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2020. Martha was born October 20, 1957 to Alfred and Valentine Johnson.

Martha was a very outgoing, loving, kind hearted, and animated person. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and watching movies of any genre. She was always known for her sense of fashion at a very early age. She always coordinated from head to toe, if it was to just walk to the mail box and back. She was known for making people fall in love with her with just her joyous personality. She had a heart of Gold.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; Alfred, Sr. and Valentine, brothers; James Johnson, Alfred Johnson, Jr., sisters; Marlene Johnson and Elaine Johnson.

Martha is survived by her daughters; Angela B. Karashin, Christine E. Johnson, and Marquita D. Watson, brothers; Floyd Johnson and Leon Johnson, sister; Dora Mae Johnson, three grandchildren; Yasmine Grant, Azariah Watson, and Jamal Forrest and a host of nieces and nephews.
