It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved Lisa Rene Jackson, who departed this life on April 26, 2025, at the age of 57. Lisa was born in Tulia, TX on June 14, 1967, to proud parents, Leon Jr. and Rosa A. Jackson. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age. Lisa was a woman of unwavering faith, rooted in a strong belief in God, guided by love, compassion and a kind heart.
Lisa Jackson was a devoted mother, a cherished daughter, and a loyal sister whose nurturing spirit touched every life she encountered. Her love knew no bounds, and her entire family was the center of her world. She loved fiercely and with complete loyalty. Whether offering a warm embrace, a listening ear, or words of encouragement, she was a constant source of strength and comfort.
For over twenty years, Lisa served selflessly at Park Towers, where her dedication and tender care earned the admiration of residents and colleagues alike. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Beyond her giving heart, Lisa was a true fashionista. With a creative eye and bold spirit, she had a talent for sewing and repurposing clothing, often turning simple pieces into unforgettable show stopping statements (Diva Style). Her trend-setting style inspired many, and her presence was always marked by elegance and individuality. Lisa was also a phenomenal cook, who believed that food was one of the purest ways to show love. Her kitchen was always open, and no one ever left her home hungry. Lisa’s Red Velvet cake and Peach Cobbler will be dearly missed.
Lisa was preceded in death by her eldest son, Rondy D. Watson, and both sets of Grandparents, Leon Jackson Sr., Ira L. Jackson, Robert L. Pollard and Rosa L. Pollard.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, sons, Ronnie D. Watson Jr. and JaRondian D. Hopson; grandchildren, Zakiah D. Kates, D’Shawna L. Watson and Braylon Watson; sisters, Malinda J. Jackson and Felicia L. Jackson; brothers, Tracy L. Jackson, Ronnie G. Jackson, Cecil L. Jackson and Patrick L. Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Her friends and family will forever remember her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion that will continue to shine through those who were blessed to know her. Words could never fulfill the true essence of Lisa R. Jackson. To know Lisa was to love and adore her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
