Lester Joe "LJ" Holland

Lester Joe Holland, affectionally known as LJ was born April 17, 1955, to O.C. Holland and Edna Pytlinski in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lester Joe received his formal education at Hilltop Elementary School, North Heights Elementary School and Carver High School receiving a certificate.

Lester Joe accepted Christ at an early age at Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church, later uniting with Faith Clinic Christian Center Church, 2000 Polk St, Amarillo, TX, Dr. Lee A. and Pat Simpson, Pastors. LJ served as usher and assisted in housekeeping during his membership at The Clinic.

Lester Joe and Benita Carter were united in holy matrimony on July 18, 2002.

LJ and Benita own and operate Taxi Pros since 2004. He had a friendly and loveable personality. In his leisure, he loved watching and discussing, both football (JETS) (SPARTANS) and basketball (MILWAUKEE BUCKS). He also enjoyed listening to Ole School music. He loved his family and had incredibly special relationships with his great grandchildren, Malachi, Jonathan, Niyari, Shivory. He was so proud that his grandnieces were born on his birthday, twin-kies: Kendall and Kambrie Holland.

Lester Joe Holland transitioned to JESUS in Heaven on January 8, 2022. Predeceased loved ones are his father, O.C. Holland, mother, Edna Pytlinski, son, Kavon Cushion, sisters, Leopha Gums, Ocie Lee Lewis.
