Lee A. Adams, Jr., was born February 16, 1952, in Kerrville, Texas, to Minnie Mae Davis and Lee Adams, Sr. He moved to Amarillo, Texas, in the 80s. He worked as a carpet layer for thirty years. His favorite football team was, “The One and Only, Philadelphia Eagles”. He was known by many as Po Chop, a nickname his grandfather gave him. He met Gwen, the love of his life and was with her until he left this earth. He was a very loving, caring, and honest man, and will be missed dearly by his family and close friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Gwen, brother, Lee Adams, Willie (Allison) Adams, Freddie (Jamie) Adams, Walter (Brittney) Adams; sisters, Brenda DeBose, Louella Adams, Lemisia Adams, daughters, Sheronida Posey, Tavisha Williams, Petra Telford; nephews and nieces, Sesili, Elijah, Damian, Emery, Jayden, Caliyah, Freddie, Uriah, Destiny DebBose, Terrance Young, Todge Gonzales, ReyAundria Crain, Kamarce Crain, Isaiah Booker, grandchildren, Dominik (Brittney) Posey, Terrance (Tareka) Posey, Kreasha (Michael) Naoka, D’Andre Shaquille, Talia, Braniya, Trejan, and a host of great grandchildren, family and friends.
