Larry Joe Duke

Larry Duke was born to Mrs.  John and Mattie Duke in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Estacado High School and went on to West Texas A&M, where he became a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

He worked hard and loved hard. If he called you a friend, you were special to him. He loved animals, music, and sports. His favorite teams were the Chiefs and the Cowboys. If you needed to know about events, family, and happenings, he could tell you. He remembered everything. He is loved by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mattie; brother, David; sister Jewel and daughter, Camille.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Janice Duke; daughter, Yolanda Sims; granddaughter, Marie Duke; great grandson, Cairo Glover, and a host of family and friends.
