Kenneth Wayne Perry was born Monday, January 26, 1959, at St. Anthony Hospital, Amarillo, Texas, to Elbert Perry and Elesia Hayes Perry. He was the sixth child and the fifth baby son. He was baptized at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He attended Hilltop Elementary From the first to sixth grades. Kenneth attended Carver Junior High, Austin Jr. High, and Tascosa High School.
Growing up on North Hayden N.W. 16th street and N.W. 14th street and N.W. 12th street, he played with his gang the Little Rascals; friends, Henry, Donald, James, Al, Anthony, Dwight, Dwayne, Carl, Phil, Joseph, Edward, Big Buster, Ryamond, Mederia, Big Wesley, and Big Rick. He loved playing games like freeze tag, 1-2-3, Red Light, Green Light, Marbles, Bike Racing, Tomm Walkers, swimming, Basketball, Football, Baseball, and Croquet.
He loved his German Shepard, Nick. He was the only brother that would push his sister, Doll, out of bounds so she could retain her rights to control the tv, so she could watch soap operas. The other four brothers wanted to watch westerns, Untouchables, and sports.
He was preceded in death his parents, Elbert, and Elesia Perry; brothers, “Elbert Huneke-Iron Rock Billy”, and Ralph.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Douglas, Wanda (Doll) Jerry, David, Gloria, and Lori; nephews; nieces; grand nephews; great-grand nieces and a host of double first cousins, cousins, and friends.
