Kendrick Kahili Freeman, Jr., was born May 28, 1996, in Amarillo,TX to Africia Moore and Kendrick Freeman Sr. Kendrick was the first son to both parents. Kendrick graduated from Borger High School where he developed his love for basketball and football. Following high school, he received a scholarship to Northwestern OSU to play running back. He attended Mt. Zion Baptist church from an early age. He loved Christ and he loved people. He spent his free time mentoring his younger siblings. He had a contagious laugh and a golden personality that will be missed by all that knew him.
Kendrick is preceded in death by his two great grandmothers; Louvina Woodard and Hester Johnson, one great grandfather; Raymond Everett, one aunt; Tawanda Brown, one uncle; Lewis Moore.
Kendrick is survived by his parents; Africia Moore Tallant, Kendrick Freeman, Sr., stepmom ( Heather Fessler) three brothers; Brakenden Freeman ,Kenbyrei Freeman , King Tallant, eight sisters; Whitney Easter, Kayja Freeman, Taeona Fisher, Kenasia Freeman, Kacee Freeman, Kenleigh Freeman, Lyliah Freeman, Arissa Freeman, two grandmothers; Gloria Boxten, and Brenda Freeman and two Grandfathers Donald Everett, Virgil Burns and his Special ,Nana and Papa Tammy Durley and Jan Durley.
