Karl Wayne Scott

Karl Wayne Scott was born December 26, 1963, to the late W.L. Scott, Sr. and Dorothy Jean Scott. During his youth Karl was an all star athlete through grade school to high school. He loved to play football, run track, and field and his sport was wrestling.

In the fall of 1980, he met the love of his life Vanessa Sargent, they were together for 30 years.

He is preceded in death by, L.B. Scott, Sr., Reverend W.L. Scott, Jr., Jeremiah Sargent, and Chris Scott.

He is survived by, Reggie (Rita) Sargent, Christian Sargent,  Karl Wayne Scott, Jr., Tedrick (Meghan) Sargent, Brandy Sargent, Ciera Scott, Quintory Sargent, and Meosha Scott all of Amarillo, Martin Scott, Mary Scott-Beatty, Jerry Cunningham, Nina Renee Scott, Willie (Trica) Kirk Scott, Michael Scott, Cynthia (Crawford) Scott Demus, thirty-eight grandchildren, and a host  of cousins, nieces, and nephews, that loved him dearly.
