Kari Ja’Wuan was the first born to Carolyn Darnes Tharpe and Paul Holman on February 24, 1980, in Amarillo, TX. On November 19, 2021, the Lord called him home. He was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1999 with a presidential honor award and there, he played football and participated in wrestling and track.
He worked for Burlington at the time of his demise. His hobbies were watching the Dallas Cowboys and other teams, fishing with his brothers, cooking on the grill, and spending time with his family. He loved his kids.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Evelyn Newman, papa: A.D. Newman, grandpa: Willie Darnes, Sr. Brother, Christophe, Aunts: Jean, Karen, Doris, uncle: Larry Joe
He leaves to cherish his memory: His parents, Billy Joe and Carolyn Tharpe, brothers: Erron (Jocelyn), Ollie J (Summer), Todd Barnes, Thomas Brembry and Shamall Tharpe, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, Rosa Santiago, the mother of his children, Jadorie and Aiden Darnes.
