Karen Echols was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was the second child to A.D. and Georgia Echols. Her dad preceded her in death. She was born on November 4, 1969, in Wortham, Texas. Karen received her education at Palo Duro High School and Amarillo College.
Later, she met and married Michael Jones. One child was born, Kierra Jones.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kemarra Marron; one sibling, Allen Echols; two grandmothers and grandfathers; two uncles, Emmitt Brown, and Frank (Echols); aunt, Carolyn.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Kierra Jones, husband, Michael Jones; one sister, Cleopatra Echols (Kelvin); two brothers, Cecil A. Echols (Porshena) and Quinton O. Block, both of Amarillo, TX; uncles, Willy C. (Alice) Brown and Aluther (Shirley) Brown; aunties, Mary Brown, Gliford (Anneett) Brown, Janice Johnson; nephews, Cecil, Jr., Tye’Lick Foster, Marquito Echols, and Shamon Wilson; niece, Try’nity Luckey; great nieces and nephews, Marcavion Echols, Marcaviyanna Echols, and a host of nieces and cousins; and special friend, Ricky E.
