Johnnie Delores (Griffin) Sanders

Johnnie Delores Sanders was born on March 4, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas to John Dee Griffin and Artie Mae Griffin.  She attended High School at Carver in Amarillo Texas and college at West Texas State University.   She moved to Borger, Texas in 1972 with her late Husband, Dennis Sanders and their two sons. 

She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age while being a member at Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas.  She was also an active member in the choir at Bethel Baptist Church and Keller Baptist Church in Borger, Texas.  She was a very benevolent women who loved to help those who were in need.  She retired at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo with over 30 years of service while maintaining her residency in Borger, Texas.

Ms. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.  She is survived by 2 sisters, Georgette Greene and her husband Deon Greene and Stephanie Gilbreath, 3 sons, Artie Donnell Sanders and his wife Stacey Sanders, Antwane Demille Sanders, and John David Sanders, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Her presence, strength, counsel, and funny sense of humor will be missed and cherished by all.
