JoAnn Lynn Martinez

 JoAnn Lynn Martinez was born on September 8, 1965, in Walsenburg, Colorado. She was the eldest child of Julian (Jan) Martinez of Segundo, Colo, and the late Verna Marquez of Raton, NM.

She had a love of fishing & life of the party, center of attention, those who knew her, knew she was brutally honest.

Joann was a loving mother to Yolanda Marquez of Edmond OK, Sandra Galindo of Moore OK, & Carlos Marquez of Amarillo TX. A special motherly bond to Miguel Hermosillo of Amarillo TX, Richard Padilla of Del City OK and Desiree Padilla of Edmond OK.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Verna Marquez and brother Patrick Walker.

Joann is survived by her father, Julian (Jan) Martinez; husband, Ruben Cardenas; two daughters, one son, eight grandsons, four granddaughters, and six great grandsons; sisters Sherri (James) Martinez of Trinidad, CO. Denise Martinez Garcia of Raton, NM, Julie Martinez of Edmond OK, Misty Martinez of Trinidad, CO, Liann (Michael) Richardson of Trinidad, CO. late brother Patrick Walker, numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Martinez Family. Joann will be deeply missed & forever remembered. Fly high my angel.
