James Edward Henry was born August 25, 1961, in Amarillo, Texas, to Thomas Melvin Henry and Violean Henry. He attended Palo Duro High School. James believed and loved to work hard, and he did many jobs alone the way. His favorite past time was fishing.
James loved the Dallas Cowboys and watching football. Later in life, he started driving semi-trucks for Golden Spread Cement Company and Bekin’s Moving Service.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Melvin Henry and aunt, Dorothy Fay Henry.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Redic; children, Terrika Henry Redic, Sherrkia Redic; son, Quincy Jones; grandchildren, Gizelle Redic, Sumalia Saryoung, and Varsley Saryoung, Jr., all of Amarillo, Texas; mother, Violean Riley of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Nathan Henry of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephews, Willie Riley and Domonique Riley of Amarillo, Texas; and a host of family and friends.
