Gloria Jean Sauls was born November 2, 1944, In Borger Texas to Andrew and Bertha Sauls.
Gloria worked at Pantex as a dispatcher in the fire department. She loved working there and the people she worked with. She attended Booker T. Washington Elementary School, Sam Houston Junior High School, and Borger High School. She graduated from Borger High School and attended Frank Phillips Junior College where she earned an Associate Arts degree. She graduated from Business School.
Gloria enjoyed making ceramics, sewing and other crafts. She loved listening to music, and she was an avid wrestling fan. She was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan. She was a member of the Ebonaires a community organization that helped provide college scholarships for high school graduates to help with college. She was the treasurer and enjoyed working with them.
Preceding her in death is her father Andrew Sauls Sr., her mother Bertha Sauls and her brother Andrew Sauls Jr.
She leaves to morn two sons Shannon Sauls of Riverdale Georgia, Steffon Sauls of Childress Texas; three grandchildren Daveontae Sauls of Seattle Washington, Joseph Elijah Sauls of Amarillo Texas, Dante Sauls of Lubbock Texas; two sisters Ethel Ruth Belton of Borger Texas, Vivian Lyons of Riverdale Georgia; two brothers, Rev. James Sauls and wife Marilyn Sauls of Seattle Washington, Rev. John Sauls and wife Fannie Sauls of Seattle Washington. She has nine nieces and eight nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and cousins.
