Fennie Norman, Sr. Obituary

Fennie Ruben Norman, began his life's journey in Seaside, California on December 8, 1956. Fennie was born to Evelyn Smith Norman Moore and Sgt. James Norman, Sr (both deceased). Fennie was blessed to have two Fathers his biological father Sgt. James Norman, Sr and the man he affectionately called “Pop”, Eddie Moore, Jr(deceased) who loved and raised Fennie and his siblings as his very own.

Fennie spent his formative years in Amarillo, TX but doing high school he moved to Inglewood, California. Upon graduation from Inglewood High School Fennie joined the Air Force and after four years of service he received an Honorable Discharge. Shortly after leaving the Air Force Fennie met and married Alfreda Davis and to this union a baby boy was born, Fennie Ruben Norman Jr. Fennie moved his family to Dallas, Texas in 1981 and began a 27year career with the United States Post Office. His career concluded after his health prevented him from carrying out his duties.

Fennie enjoyed playing and winning at chess and dominoes, he loved basketball and all types of music. He also loved and enjoyed his family. His memory and life is cherished by his son Fennie Jr/Angela (Dallas), Grandson Fennie III (Austin), brother James Norman (Atlanta) Sister Christy Davis (Amarillo), Brother Royce Norman(Dallas), Baby brother Edward Moore(deceased), nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Fennie enjoyed life and will be truly missed.
