Ethel Mae Boney Williams, the third child born to Vernell and Iras Boney on March 14, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas. At an early age she accepted the Lord as her personal savior, and she was baptized at Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church. She attended North Heights Elementary, Carver Junior and Senior High where she graduated in 1967. After completing high school she attended Amarillo College and received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 1969 she moved to El Paso, Texas where she met and married John Henry Robinson and to this union two children were born Daphne Robinson and Lykethia Boney Ervin.In 1971 she moved to Dallas TX, and practiced her profession, and in 1975 she moved back to Amarillo TX. In 1978 she met and married Ivery Williams and to this union no children were born. Ethel worked at numerous places, Phillips 66, Amarillo Club, and Bobs Taxi to name a few. After retiring she did private home health care. She was a member of Saint John Baptist. She was a very faithful member of New Light Ministries for 30+ years. She was on the decorative committee, aided in baptisms, prepped the Lords Supper, kept the books and music for the choir, and also set up and decorated tables to help sell Pastor’s CDs. She also helped in the business office with finances. She loved helping other people and if you asked for anything she was there. Pastor Eleanor said Ethel had a spiritual gift of helping. She is preceded in death by her parents ; Vernell and Iras Boney, one sister; Johnny Mcknight; one brother Charles Boney. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters; Daphne Robinson and Lykethia Boney Ervin. Son; Fredrick Marsh. 11 grandchildren; Tommey(Stormie) Williams of Elk City, OK. Lenny (Kathlyn) Gray, Nabory Pride-Grayson, Tiara Hodgest, Tarika Harper, Tamara Ervin, James Ervin III, Jahmal Ervin, JohnQuarius Ervin, Amod Davis, Naturin Cleveland. All of Amarillo TX. 18 great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are two sisters; Ann Boney of Bryon TX and Hattie Boney of Dallas TX and one brother Jackie Boney MIdland TX one aunt Joyce Brooks of Galveston TX, 10 nieces, 7 nephews, and a host of great neices, nephews, cousins and other famil`y and an even greater host of Friends.
