Estella McClendon was born to the late J.R. McClendon and Velma Lee Green McClendon on January 14, 1949, in Teague, TX. Estella left Amarillo, TX in the 1960's to attend the Job Corps in McKinney, TX where she found her love and passion for sewing and picked up a trade as a seamstress. Estella would live a life of adventure and set out to pursue her dreams in other places while establishing herself as an accomplished seamstress and entrepreneur. Estella would later find love in life in John A. Ramzy, Sr. and the two had a son, John A. Ramzy, Jr. Estella would later fall in love and marry Eddie Perez and from that union they produced another son, Desmond Perez, and Estella and Eddie remained married until the day that Eddie preceded Estella in death. Estella's loving heart and devotion to family led her to adopt her daughter Mary Ward from birth. Estella enjoyed travelling, fishing, and spending time with family in her spare time.
Estella is preceded in death by her father, J.R. McClendon, husband Eddie Perez, sister Barbara McClendon Johnson, and brothers James Mcclendon and Henry Adkinson.
Estella leaves behind to cherish her memory: mother, Velma McClendon, Amarillo, Tx; sons John A.
