Emily Bean Obituary

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend, Emily JaNae’ Bean left this world unexpectedly, on September 16, 2021, which also happened to be her 18th birthday. Born in Amarillo, Texas on September 16th 2003, to Alexandria Beasley and Joe Bean, Emily grew up in Amarillo, the majority of her life, where she attended Austin middle school and recently graduated from Tascosa High School in 2021.

Emily enjoyed spending time with family and friends, outdoors, cooking, building gadgets, shopping at the mall, and chasing a bag. She was funny, outgoing and had an infectious personality. She was a hard worker and was determined to do whatever it took to achieve her future goals. We will always remember her birthday infectious smile, beautiful brown eyes, sense of style, and heart of gold. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

When you think of Emily, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest and truest extent.

Emily is preceded in death by her Grandfather Jerry Wayne Elkins of Covington, TN.

She leaves behind her parents and spouses of her parents: father: Lonzell Britton, brothers: Joe Bean of Hooker, OK; Phurius Beasley of Dallas, TX, Lamar & Jamar Britton both of Amarillo, TX; sister: Stormy Beasley of Amarillo; nephew: Kordell Paterson; Grandmother Beverly Beasley of Memphis, TN; aunt: Liz Obi of Memphis, TN; uncle: Richard Obi of Lubbock, TX; and so many more important aunts, uncles, step siblings, cousins, relatives and friends that she left an imprint on.
