Earman Eugene Gilbreath passed into the presence of the Lord on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 70. He was unconditionally loved by his family. Earman was born to the late Earman Gilbreath, Sr., and Bertha Gilbreath-Bowers on July 21, 1955, in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas.
Earman graduated from Palo Dura High School and later joined the Army. While he was on leave, he married Stephanie Griffin-Gilbreath on May 14, 1979, where she later joined him in Germany. He was a faithful and active member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, an Associate Minister. He taught BTU and Sunday School until his health declined. He was employed at Panhandle Concrete for many years where he was later disabled.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Charles Kinder.
He leaves to carry on his legacy: his wife, Stephanie Griffin Gilbreath; daughter, Kera Bryant; sister, Shirley Romaine and Sandra Cleveland; grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He loved to sing, “I’ve Been Redeemed.” His favorite scriptures were Psalm 103 and Psalm 91.
