Doris Britt

Doris Lynell Britt was born on December 8, 1952, to Clarence Britt and Willsanna Shelton in Lamar County, Texas. She was the youngest of her siblings. She loved to shop and dress, go to parks, watch The Young and the Restless, The Bold and The Beautiful, spend time with family and last but not least, she loved to dance!! She always went above and beyond for anyone. Her love was pure!!

Preceded in death by her parents; 

Clarence Britt and Willsanna Shelton, 

Three siblings; Clarence V. Britt, Jr., Trey Britt, Arthur Mae Hart (Shorty) and Luster Mae Ryan 

two great-grandsons; Kai’Ron, Chance Faison.

She is survived by her daughter;

Linda (Kamon) Simmons;

Two granddaughters, Stormy (Ronnie) Simmons-Faison, Tatiana Simmons.

great-granddaughter, Laila Faison, 

sister, Marie Collier 

niece and nephew, that she raised, Lazorranna Ryan, Zachariah Birdow and a host of family and friends.
