Dennis Allen Dobyns

Dennis Allen Dobyns Jr. “Denny”, 63 of Amarillo, Tx passed away on August 2, 2021 at his home after a long illness. 
Denny is survived by his mother, Maryann Maclachlan, his step-mother Pat Dobyns, his daughter Jenny Lyons, son in law Steve Lyons, grandchildren Mackenzie Lyons, Haley Lyons, and Nathan Lyons, his sisters Laura Vaughn and Marla Lurati, and his brother Scott Dobyns, and his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Dennis Dobyns and his sister Linda Dobyns. 

Denny was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed music, fishing, and all sports. He was a talented musician. He played the clarinet, oboe, and guitar. He was a skilled welder. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. 
A memorial service will be held for him at a later date.
