DeKendrick D. Randle “Cowboy Ken” was born July 1st, 1984, in Colorado Springs, CO. He attended Hamlet Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School, and later graduated from Palo Duro High School in 2003.
Ken was a very hard worker who believed strongly in keeping a job and taking care of family. He was employed with Strategic Retail Partners, SRP, when the Lord called him home on November 19th, 2024. He was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who was very family oriented and loved his family. Ken enjoyed family gatherings, camping, horseback riding, music, grilling, and dancing. He started his horse club, Amarillo Steppaz and he had a hell of passion for his horses, Prissy and Sundance, and his pig “Jimmy Dean”. He truly loved and enjoyed life. Ken was a very happy, joyous, and amazing person, and he had the most contagious smile. Ken’s smile alone could instantly make you forget about your worries whether you knew him personally or not. To his family members and close personal friends, his smile was like medicine to the soul. He never met a stranger no matter where his path took him. He will truly be missed by everyone he touched.
Ken is preceded in death by his father Charles Phillips Poindexter; his grandparents, Ernest Randle, Jimmie Dean & Flossie Phillips; his uncles, Terry Poindexter, Michael Terry, Richard and Dennis Randle; aunties, Ernestine Gonzales and Sharon Randle.
He leaves behind to cherish his lovely mother Bevelyn Randle; sons, Keylan Randle and Jayven Norman; a sister Sheniqua “Nikki” Randle; brothers, Anthony Randle (Jennifer), DeCedric Randle; grandmother Lavonia Randle; Godfather Richard “Pops” Riles; mother of his children, Karah Gilbert; special friend Tessa Buchanan, all from Amarillo, TX; many uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of relatives and friends.
We love you Ken!
