Chad Kemp

Chad Kemp, 51, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. Born on September 4, 1974, in Borger, Texas, Chad spent his formative years in the Lone Star State and graduated from high school in Electra, Texas.

A gentle soul with a warm heart, Chad found solace and joy in the company of his cousins and friends. He delighted in listening to music and revisiting cherished memories of days gone by. Those who knew him will fondly remember his love for connection and the simple beauty he found in life’s quiet moments.

He was preceded in death by his father Ikie Walker; stepfather James Davis; maternal grandparents Al Kemp Jr. and Geraldine; paternal grandparents Jimmie and Bessie Mae Choyce and his brother Kelly Kemp.

Chad is survived by his mother, Althia Davis of Amarillo, Texas; his twin brother Brad Kemp of Wichita Falls; his brother Jeremiah Jackson of Sherman, Texas; his niece Khloe Kemp and his nephew Darius Kemp. He also leaves behind a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry forward the memory of his kind spirit.
