Cedric was born September 28th, 1969, to LaRue Steptoe-Milligan and the late Clarence Cornelius Milligan Jr. Cedric attended elementary through 11th grade in San Jose, CA. He moved to Amarillo his senior year and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1988. He went on and received a degree in accounting while living in Corpus Christi, TX.
Cedric was a strong minded, outspoken crusader of life filled with strength and purpose guided by God. A writer, poet, songwriter, designer, and businessman.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Cornelius Milligan Jr. “CC” in 2010, his paternal grandparents Clarence Sr. and Hattie Mae Jones, his maternal grandparents Lonnie and Barbara Jean Steptoe, one uncle and four aunts.
He is survived by his mother LaRue, his former wife and best friend Marianne Mata-Milligan, his children Porsche Milligan (granddaughter Arianna), Takira “TK” Milligan, DeSean White, Javaris Jones (wife Aurora, grandson Khyson), Kya Johnson (BD), Dadrian Milligan, Ariyanna Milligan. One brother Derell Milligan Sr. (wife Cindy), his nephews Jaquori Milligan Sr. (great nephew Jaquori Jr.), Derell Milligan Jr., one uncle, one aunt and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
