Carla was born on August 16, 1969, in Amarillo, Texas to Charles R. Bibles, Sr. and Brenda J. Chaffin Bibles.
She fought a great fight in faith concerning her health for three years. Carla lost her earthly battle on July 17, 2022. She earned her wings to glory on this same day.
Carla’s absence leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family, friends, and her students. She truly brought joy to everyone she met.
She graduated from Palo Duro High school in 1987 Amarillo, Texas. Carla continued her education by pursuing and obtaining in Bachelor of Education and Master’s in teaching with technology.
Her dreams begin to come into view as she poured herself into minds of all her students at The Potters House Church in Dallas, Texas (Clay Academy). Carla continued to share her knowledge with hundreds of children until her health failed.
Carla was an avid artist enjoying the creation of and painting pictures. She also enjoyed painting ceramics, a skill her paternal grandmother taught her as a little girl.
She loved God with all her heart and used that Godly love daily.
Carla is now at PEACE! She has joined her mother, Brenda J. Chaffin Bibles, her maternal grandmother, Jeannie M. Alexander, and Marvin Chaffin.
Paternal grandparents, J.D. Bibles, Sr., and Ethel Bibles Robison. Truly, this will be a “Grand Reunion".
Carla leaves to cherish her memory her father, Charles R. Bibles, Sr., Amarillo, Texas, brother, Charles R. Bibles, Jr. (Jennifer), Lucas, Texas, Brynn and Emersyn Bibles, nieces, whom she loved dearly, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
