Brittany Washington was born August 29, 1989, in Amarillo, Texas, to John Lee Collins and Shirley Riles. She attended Amarillo Public School and Amarillo College. She married Milton Washington, they share one daughter together, Breaysha.
Brittany was employed at Hagy Center for young children for eight years. She began as a teacher and advanced to assistant director. Although shy in nature, Brittany really shined when it came to being a wife and mother. Her smile and laughter could light up and fill any room that she entered.
Brittany was preceded I death by her parents. John Lee Collins and Shirley Riles in 2018; grandparents, Jeff and Ruby Riles and James and Sara Collins; three aunts and two uncles.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Milton of nine years; daughter, Breaysha; brother, Michael; seven uncles, seven aunts, many cousins who were very close, a god-brother, Tedrian Demerson, in-laws, Milton and Linda Raynor, one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law; her Emmanuel Church family, and cherished friends.
