Brenda Faye Pugh was born on October 27, 1956, to Jeff and Doris Brown in Seguin, Texas. She graduated from Brownfield High and attended Texas Tech University, West Texas University, and Amarillo College.

Brenda is survived by her husband: Aaron Pugh, daughter: Cassandra (Roy), son: Brian (Christy), grandchildren: Akaxia, Shannon (Moe), Jessica (Tevin), Tianna, Travis, Shy, Reina, Gabriella, Berea, Makayla, Brian, Jr., and Canaan, great grandchildren: Brailyn, Aniyah, Braidyn, Tevin Jr., Courtney, Cannen, Jalee, K'Waylan, and Kambree, sisters: Leola (W.L.), Diana, Gwen, Janice (Tony), brothers: Maurice, Dewayne, Eugene, Charles (Quincy), Melvin, Stacey (Rosie) and host of nieces and nephews.
