Betty Ann Price was born April 18, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas, to Leslie and Henratta Price. Betty attended school in Olton, Texas, Lockney, Texas, and Earth, Texas. Betty loved to take care of people. She was a CNA for many years. She was a quiet person who loved to be around family and take care of her children and grandchildren. Don’t let her quietness fool you though, because she was outspoken when she needed to be. She was a wiz on the dominoes and enjoyed playing bingo, which was one of her favorite past times she shared with her brother.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Henratta Price, three sisters, four brothers, and the father of her children, Brooks Bailey Byrd.
Betty is survived by her children, Brooks Bailey-Price, Leslie (Ronnie) Price, Destiny Coleman, and Caren Payne; nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Larry), Carol (B.Y.) Tate, Jo Ann (Johnnie) Phillips, Rosie McDonald, Eric (Sandra) Price, Napolen (Brenda) Price, Jimmy Price, and Bob (Pam) Price; and host of other family and friends.
