ANDY WAYNE CURTIS GALLOWAY, SR., was born on June 14, 1983, in Amarillo, Texas, to Sonia Galloway and Andrew Miles, Sr. He was the oldest of fourteen siblings. He
attended school at Palo Duro High where he played football and made plenty of friends.
He loved dogs. He had many dogs in his 42 years of living, but Pepsi and Domino were his favorites. He loved picking on his kids, nephews, and nieces. He and his brothers loved roasting each other and others. Getting on his sisters’ nerves and laughing about it was a must-do from
time to time.
Andy loved lifting weights and boxing. Oh yeah, can’t forget that he loved, loved drinking sugar water.
Andy was known for many things in his life. The best one was his creased jeans. His jeans would be so creased they could stand up by themselves. His smile could spark the room. His laugh was contagious. To his peers, Andy was known as “Dead Mouth.” To the family growing up as a kid, he was known as “BamBam.” To us, he was known as our son, dad, big brother, and our protector.
Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, R. E. and Donna Galloway of Amarillo, TX; grandmother, Shurlie Horn of Amarillo, TX; and nephew, Jy’Qualin “Jyjy” Palmer of Amarillo, TX.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother and father, Sonia Galloway and Andrew Miles, Sr., of Amarillo, TX; kids, Alayisher King, Davion Galloway, Kavin Galloway, and Andy Galloway, Jr., of Amarillo, TX; only granddaughter, Aubrey King of Amarillo, TX; brothers, Charles Miles, Earl Miles, Andrew Miles II, Morris Gladden, Jr., Dujan Flowers, and Santwon Smith of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Donna Palmer, Andrea Johnson, Rosemary Miles-Drone, Jamie Miles- Black, Ravan Shaw, Unique Miles, Monique Miles, and Neveah Miles of Amarillo, TX; and Andy also had a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.
