Aguer was born to Dut and Buk, on January 1, 1981, in Aweil, South Sudan. He grew up in North Sudan where he started his education in Arabic and unfortunately did not get to finish because he had to leave Khartoum, the capital City of North Sudan for Cairo, Egypt in 2000, due to insecurity of Northern Sudan’s government regime system.
Aguer was accepted in the UN in 2004 for resettlement in the United States of America. Unfortunately, he passed on February 17, 2025, at 8:45 pm in Northwest Hospital.
He was such an amazing person. He loved to smile. He was smart, kind, good looking, and an amazing friend who also loved his family dearly and his entire community. He never met a stranger and got along with everyone. He was big jokester who loved to have fun. He really enjoyed hanging out with his neighbors and friends. He was always respectful to both elders and younger people in the community. He touched many lives and each life he touched was special and real.
He has eight siblings, four boys and four girls. Now, after his departure their five siblings remaining. He is also survived by his son, Issac, who is 14 years old and his mother Abuk Simon Alurk.
Aguer love for each and every one of you was real, and it meant the world to him. He will never be forgotten, and his life and love will always live on in all of our hearts each time we remember him.
May God receive his soul to rest with him in peace. Amen
