Nettie (Brown) Mason

Ms. Nettie was born to Goldman Brown and Rosa  Lee Griffin in Edna, TX. She worked and retired from Levi's Strauss in 1986. She lived life to the fullest, and she had to be center of attention. Anyone who came in contact with her fell in love with her personality. She was a strong willed person, in any situation she openly gave her opinion on things whether she was involved or not. People loved her for that. Her favorite sayings were " I am foxy granny" or " This is Mississippi mud".
 
 She is preceded in death by her father; Goldman Brown, mother; Rosa Lee Griffin, son;  Clark Dewayne Flournoy, sister; Barbara Jean Frazier, and husband; Dale Mason.
 
 She is survived by two daughters; Loretta Flournoy and Sandra L. Samuel (Sammy) two sisters; Emmer Roberts, and Alfreda Evans, six grandchildren; Patrice Flournoy (Vincent), Danny Riddley (Jaylin), Marcus Riddley, Celess Miles (Bruce), Randall Campbell and Brandy Campbell, six great grandchildren; Tersie Carey, Jarva Carey, Jarven Carey, Zandaya Miles, Draylin Riddley, Aasiah Hood and a host of nieces and nephews.
 
Special friends: Beverly Allen, Billie Jean Jackson, Nella Browning.
